ABS Bid Farewell to Captain Boniface, Shadrack, Atoyebi

ABS Ilorin FC announces the departure of captain Timothy Boniface, Mujeeb Atoyebi and David Shadrack, who have joined Lobi Stars FC ahead of the 2026/2027 season.

The club expresses its sincere appreciation to the trio for their dedication, hard work and invaluable contributions during their respective spells with the Saraki Boys.

Boniface spent four seasons with ABS Ilorin FC, serving as captain and providing leadership on and off the pitch. Shadrack completed two seasons with the club, while Atoyebi spent one season in the red and yellow colours.

The trio played important roles in the club’s fight to retain its Nigeria National League (NNL) status last season, demonstrating resilience, determination and commitment throughout a challenging campaign.

Their contributions were part of the collective effort that culminated in a crucial 1–0 victory over Sokoto United in Sokoto on the final day of the season, ensuring the Saraki Boys retained their place in the NNL.

As they embark on a new chapter with Lobi Stars FC, ABS Ilorin FC acknowledges their service and wishes them continued success as they take the next steps in their professional careers.

The club remains grateful for their contributions and the memories created during their time in Ilorin, wishing them the very best in their future endeavours.
