The stage is set for an unforgettable celebration of sports as the Orumogege Sports Extravaganza 2026 prepares to bring excitement, unity, and talent discovery to Ogbomosoland.
Powered by Mr Amos Adewale Ado Chairman Orumogege Sports Service and hosted under the Cradle Carnival, this year's edition promises an action-packed sporting festival featuring two major events. The Orumogege Football Competition will officially kick off on September 8, 2026, while the Orumogege Boxing Championship begins on September 20, 2026.
The initiative is aimed at promoting grassroots sports development, identifying young talents, strengthening community relationships, and empowering the next generation through healthy competition. Participants and spectators can look forward to thrilling football encounters and electrifying boxing contests that will showcase the rich sporting potential within the region.
Beyond the competition, the Orumogege Sports Extravaganza stands as a symbol of hope, unity, and opportunity. It provides a platform where young athletes can pursue their dreams, inspire others, and contribute to building a stronger and more vibrant sporting culture.
With the inspiring theme "One People, One Passion, One Victory!", the organizers are calling on football lovers, boxing enthusiasts, community leaders, sponsors, and supporters to come together and make this year's edition a resounding success.
